A fragrance which touch skins as a volcanic eruption, his and her skin for a sensations explosion.
The fragrance features notes of lavender, mandarin orange, hawthorn, nutmeg flower, cedar, bergamot, chamomile, lemon as top notes. The rare combination of lavender, bergamot and lemon chords, notes which I can smell easily are more volatile and does not follow an ultra fresh pattern. After five minutes, the smell goes from fresh to floral with subtile and warm waves of a gasolin scent with a softness which I connect to nuts and leather. This aroma is intriguing because the violet also is in it, almost totally hidden, seeming a chemical component, hot and narcotic that if, exhaling closer can provoke more addiction. The addiction caused by the olfactive curiosity.On the other hand, the gasolin chords are not completely a gasolin scent because they are not aggressive, the floral body neutralizes any brutality in the aroma. Para quem está acompanhando minha viagem olfativa pelos perfumes italianos e as óperas de Puccini pode afirmar: Que viagem! No sentido de que como Cris está viajando nos seus delirantes pensamentos, talvez um pouco insanos, talvez totalmente racionais. Suposições à parte, perfumes são uma forma de escapismo e, nesta fuga adentro de estórias alegres e trágicas, sempre há um pouco de fantasia e de veracidade a qual todos precisamos para contemplar a beleza das fragrâncias. O intuito da série é espontâneo, mas talvez proposital no sentido de fazê-lo vestir o perfume em algumas formas de diálogos artísticos (não importa o que os outros pensem, afinal não há verdades corretas) para que, através destas situações, encontre a si mesmo em notas perfumísticas que assumem bocas, olhos, pensamentos que são teus. Respirar um perfume não teria graça se não houvesse uma música, uma emoção, um ato necessário para que ele te envolva por completo.
Desta vez, minha viagem olfativa envolveu-me na estória de Manon Lescaut, uma jovem que segue a risca o ditado "comer o pão que o diabo amassou", contanto que se ame e isso ela fez bem. Predestinada a ser uma freira, abriu mão de seu forçado destino religioso para entregar-se nos braços do cavalheiro de Grieux, percorreu difíceis caminhos entre roubar, ser presa, ser perseguida por um homem asqueroso e ainda ser acusada de prostituta mas faleceu crente de que fora amada, mesmo que a última ária expresse o que realmente o seu estado final, sola, perduta, abbandonata (sozinha, perdida, abandonada).
Mas você deve estar se perguntando: - Comovente, Cris! Mas na tua lúdica interpretação nesta série de escritos, onde entra Etra Etro by Etro ? Bem, Etra Etro tem uma proposta "unissex" que, não é somente uma proposta no aroma, mas na própria divulgação da fragrância, deixando claro ao consumidor que o perfume é uma fragrância "espelho" narcissista, que reflete na mulher o lado masculino e no homem as qualidades femininas, em uma atmosfera de realidade e sonho, sensual e etérea. Este pode ser o perfume de Manon Lescaut, uma jovem que, de certa forma, precisava de qualidades viris, masculinas para enfrentar tudo o que passou, para passar da condição de potencial freira para a de uma fugitiva em busca de viver a liberdade do amor. Atrás de uma aparente fragilidade inicial, ela foi forte para escapar com seu amado, para baixar seu nível de burguesa a uma proletariada e, ainda assim, ter coragem de abrir mão de seu orgulho feminino para submeter-se à vida fugaz e pomposa ao lado do velho Geront longe de Grieux. Depois de ladra,passou à prisioneira e exilada na América e, enfim, morta para sempre nos braços de seu amado. Trágico, não? Sim, mas atrás de toda tragédia, sempre há uma beleza e, neste caso, usando Etra Etro, há a beleza do amalgamento de ser mulher e homem no que há de melhor em qualidades aromáticas neste Etro. Vamos à beleza olfativa da fragrância.
Etra Etro criado pela estilosa e sofisticada fashion maison italiana Etro é uma das mais versáteis fragrâncias da Etro, no entanto não a considero a melhor da marca, posição que na minha opinião é de Shaal Nur. No entanto, fazendo jus ao termo unissex, é bastante útil para ambos os sexos contanto que o homem que use Etra Etro deseje um aroma menos amadeirado e mais confortável, levemente adocicado por uma baunilha almiscarada. No geral, há uma composição de notas que está estruturada em um lado mais feminino e mais masculino, sendo que o lado feminino evoca uma abertura e notas de coração florais como madeira de rosas, jasmin, rosa, gerânio e um base vanilla musk com o lado masculino com notas especiadas e amadeiradas de coriandro, cardamono, pimenta, madeira de cedro e de sândalo.
A abertura de Etra Etro tem um forte aroma de madeira de rosas que são, imediatamente, misturados com o floral de jasmin, influenciado por a doce virilidade da pimenta e do coriandro. Este mix tem uma dubiedade pois, ao mesmo tempo que ele é quente e doce, também é frutado cítrico apimentado, em razão da influência do quadrado formado pelas flores, coriandro, pimenta e a baunilha almiscarada. O gerânio e a madeira de cedro, embora não tão evidentes na fragrância atuam com um caratér mais fresco a fim de estabilizar o lado baunilha da fragrância, o sândalo e o almíscar, como uma dupla versátil para todos os sexos acaba por dar à Etra Etro a linearidade de uma base aromática boa para ambos os sexos. Para o homem e a mulher que gosta de fragrâncias do estilo de Boss Soul(Hugo Boss) e Silver Shadow(Davidoff) com a adição de sutis rosas e jasmins, podem gostar desta dualidade de uma fragrância que não é tão delicada como uma mulher e também não é tão agressiva como um homem. A evolução da fragrância, morrendo em uma nuance mais abaunilhada almiscarada com toques de pimenta, mas ainda assim mais levemente doce que especiada, esta é propriamente a fase final de Manon Lescaut em sua fragilidade feminina.
Na minha "leitura" olfativa, Etra Etro prevalece muito mais como uma fragrância feminina em razão de sua característica "sweet peppery", atribuindo à qualquer mulher algo mais equilibrado entre flores, madeiras e especiarias, não tão suntuoso, mas potencialmente delicado na pele. Na ópera de Puccini, além de ter o lado "male" para Manon Lescaut nos primeiros momentos na pele, Etra Etro faz um diálogo com o casal e a necessidade de que haja um equilíbrio entre os desejos apaixonados, o amor intenso e desesperado para se alcançar a possibilidade de estar juntos, assim como o equilíbrio olfativo da fragrância que se ajusta a ambos os sexos. É como cantar, sola, perduta, abbandonata aqui na terra, mas nos sonhos de amor, no descanso de Manon Lescaut cantar:Etra Etro, ed ella , ed egli,para sempre juntos.

For those who are following my olfactive journey with these italian perfumes and Puccini's operas may confirm: What journey! In the meaning of how Cris is traveling in her delirious thoughts, perhaps a little insane, perhaps totally rationals. Suppositions apart, perfumes are a type of escapism and, during this flight into happy and tragic stories, always there is something of fantasy and veracity which all of us need to contemplate the beauty of the fragrances. The aim of this writing serie is spontaneous, but maybe intentional to make you wear a fragrance in some forms of artistic dialogues (and no matter what people think since there are not right trues) in order to, through these situations, you find yourself in fragrant notes that transform in mouths, eyes, thoughts that are yours. Smelling a fragrant would not be fun if there was not a song, an emotion, a necessary action to make it involve you completely.
This time, in my olfactory experience I was involved by the story of Manon Lescaut, a young lady that is a good example for that dictation "to undergo difficulties and problems", even she loved and loving was her fade. She was predestinated to be a nun, abandoned this forced religious destiny to run the arms of her love the chevalieur des Grieux, run through hard ways such as stealing, being put in a jail, be persecuted by a nauseous man and being accused of prostitute however she died trusting that she loved her Grieux, even her last aria expresses her final stage, sola, perduta, abbandonata (alone,lost, abbandoned).

Etra Etro belongs to the stilish and sophisticated italian fashion maison Etro and is one of the most versatile fragrances of Etro, however I don't think it is the best perfume of the brand, in my opinion, in the best position places Shaal Nur. But being entitled to the unissex meaning, Etra Etro is very wearable for both sexies if the man wishes a scent less woody and more confortable, slightly sweet with its vanillic musky drydown. In the general of the fragrance, there is a composition of notes that is structured in a female pillar and a male pillar, the first one evokes the top and heart notes as floral such as rosewood, jasmine, rose, geranium and a vanilla musk base and the second one evokes spicies and woodies as coriander, cardamon, pimento, cedarwood and sandalwood.
The opening of Etra Etro has the strong smell of rosewood that are, immediately, blended to the floral of jasmine, influenced by the sweet virility of the pimento and coriander. This mix has the dubiety because, on the same time it is warm and sweet, is also fruity citrusy peppery scent, because of the influence of the quadrate flowers, coriander, pimento and vanilla musk. The geranium and the cedarwood, even not so evident in the fragrance, they work to stamp a fresh label in the mix and settle the vanilla of the fragrance, the sandalwood and the musk, as a versatile pair for both sexies give to Etra Etro the linearity of a good fragrant base for both sexies. For the man and the woman who enjoy fragrances as Soul(Hugo Boss) and Silver Shadow(Davidoff) with the addition of some subtle roses and jasmines, they will enjoy the duality of a fragrance that is not so delicate as a woman and not so aggressive as a man. To conclude, the evolution of the fragrance fades into a vanillic musky accord with hints of pimento but, even so, sweeter than spicier what means the final phase of Manon Lescaut in her female fragility.
In my olfactive "reading", Etra Etro prevails more than a feminine fragrance because of its trace as a "sweet peppery scent", giving attribute as a fragrance with a balance control of flowers, woodies and spicies to any woman , not so sultry, but potentially delicate on the skin. In Puccini's opera, more than having the "male" side for Manon Lescaut in the first moments of the Etra Etro on skin, the fragrance dialogues with the couple and the need of a balance between the passion desires among them, the intense and desesperate love to reach the possibility of being together, as well as the olfactive balance of the fragrance that adapts to both men and women. It is like to sing sola, perduta, abbandonata here in the earth, but in the love dreams, in the resting place of Manon Lescaut sing something as:Etra Etro, ed ella , ed egli,forever together.
