O cantor Sean John (Puffy Daddy) está ficando cada vez mais notório na perfumaria, assim como o nome de seu álbum Notorious e suas fragrâncias.A notoriedade, desta vez, é bem negativa por responder a um processo legal de infração de copyright movida pelo artista Tim Patty que alega que o frasco de Unforgivable é parecido com sua obra Compacted Gray With Clear and Ribs. Imperdoável, não?

The singer Sean John (Puffy Daddy) is becoming more notorious in the perfumery, as well as his Notorious album and fragrances. This time the notoriety is very negative because there is a copyright infrigement  lawsuit against him filed by the artist Tim Patty which allegates that the bottle of Unforgivable fragrance is seemed to his art work Compacted Gray With Clear and Ribs . Is it unforgivable, isn't it?

 

O mico mais escancarado na perfumaria 2009 é o frasco da fragrância Twilight, inspirada na saga Crepuscular e multitrilionária de Stephenie Meyer.            Por uma  "inocente coincidência" , o frasco é praticamente idêntico ao de Nina Ricci Nina. Uma história de amor entre os frascos, tão ligados como Bela Swan e Edward Cullen, mas que parou na justiça e despertou a raiva da Prestige .

The most embarassing situation in the perfumery is the bottle of Twilight fragrance, inspired by the multitrillionaire Twilight Saga written by Stephenie Meyer, for one "innocent coincidence" its bottle is identical to Nina Ricci Nina's bottle. A love story between both bottles so connected as Bela Swan and Edward Cullen, with a tragic consequence: a lawsuit and the anger of Prestige.

A criativa atriz e produtora Sarah Jessica Parker que acompanha o passo a passo de suas criações perfumadas, como Lovely e Covet,  parece ter sofrido uma amnésia e/ou um surto de falta de inovação, pelo menos, ao ter aprovado o nome de sua fragrância "Twilight" , o mesmo nome do perfume inspirado na saga o Crepúsculo. Prova de que, embora talentosa, ela deu um nó temporário na própria cabeça e, também, na do consumidor que nunca esquecerá tal fato.



The creative actress and producer Sarah Jessica Parker who follows step by step of her fragrant creations, such as Lovely and Covet, seems to have had a temporary amnesia ,or at least, a loss of creativeness when she approved the name of one of her fragrances as "Twilight", the same name of the perfume inspired by Twilight Saga. It proves that, even though she is very talented, she had a loss of memory which the fragrance consumer never will forget.

Beyonce, a insaciável cantora de RB fechou um contrato ultramilionário com a gigante Coty para o lançamento da sua nova linha de perfumes em 2010. Rumores dizem que a idéia dela era usar o seu famoso alter ego, Sasha Fierce, para nomear sua linha e/ou alguma fragrância. A empresa Abercrombie E Fitch que, a propósito, tem um perfume chamado Fierce abriu um ação judicial contra Beyonce para que ela não use este nome.  Mesmo sendo uma ação preventiva, foi  bastante ruído baseado em probabilidades; enquanto isso, Beyonce e Coty continuam enchendo o bolso de dinheiro.

Beyonce, the insatiable RB singer made an ultramillionaire agreement with the Giant Coty for the release of her new fragrances line in 2010. Rumors said that her idea was to use her famous alter ego name, Sasha Fierce, to name the line and/or some fragrance. The company  Abercrombie E Fitch which, by the way, has a perfume called Fierce filed a lawsuit against Beyonce to avoid her to use this name. Even that is a preventive action, there is much noise based in probabilities ; while that, Beyonce and Coty continues filling their pockets with  money.

Nem só de "Kisses" vive a modelo Naomi Campbell. Empresários da Moodform Mission que a ajudaram a negociar um contrato de perfumaria e cosméticos não receberam o lucro  combinado e abriram um processo contra a top model por quebra de contato. Segundo o ba fá fá do caso, ela sonegou lucros com as vendas de perfumes como Cat Deluxe e Seductive Elixir. A Top Model e seu advogado negam qualquer acusação.

Naomi Campbell don't live only with "Kisses". Executives of Moodform Mission  company who helped her to negotiate a perfumery and cosmetics agreement did not get their agreed profits  and  had to settle a lawsuit against the top model allegating she broke the deal . According to rumours, she has not paid  the sales profits of Cat Deluxe and Seductive Elixir fragrances. The Top Model and her lawyer has denied any accusation.

Perfume e cinema : Twilight (O crepúsculo)

Esta semana assisti novamente o filme O crepúsculo, baseado no romance trilionário e best-seller de Stephenie Meyer. A versão cinematográfica já disponível nas locadoras do país e decidi voltar a falar sobre o perfume no cinema, assim como fiz quando relatei algumas divagações sobre Perfume de Mulher, com Al Pacino.

Tirando minhas emoções "teen", que felizmente acontecem uma hora ou outra e, olha que já sou uma mulher experiente, não nego que Robert Pattinson , na pele do vampiro Edward Cullen é puro frisson. Ele poderia sugar todo o meu sangue, preferencialmente se meu pescocinho estivesse deliciosamente perfumado. Mas, azarações imaginárias à parte, estou aqui para falar de um ponto interessante neste filme, discretamente colocado nas entrelinhas do mesmo: o cheiro de Bella, interpretada pela atriz Kristen Stewart.

O cheiro é uma matéria impalpável incrivelmente sedutora até para estes imortais. Imaginar que, além do sangue que corre pelas veias, tão desejado nas histórias de vampiros, há uma cheiro que cobre o latejante pulsar de nossas veias em contato com a pele: o nosso próprio cheiro, o nosso próprio perfume. Capaz de enfeitiçar seres, sejam mortais ou imortais, reais ou imaginários, mansos ou perigosos, o cheiro da pele rasga as entranhas, estabelece este contato visceral entre corpo, espírito e alma, o triângulo da vida, a vida que alguém pode ser aspirada de nós.

O cheiro... o perfume de Bella atraí os vampiros e, nos contos, vampiros sugam a vida, esta energia que inicia e dá fim a tudo, ao menos, física. De certa forma, atraídos por um aroma, eles desejam sugar esta aura perfumada como sentir o sabor do perfume no próprio sangue.

A começar o próprio Edward que, em uma fala memorável diz a Bella.

"Minha família e eu somos diferentes dos outros da nossa espécie. Nós só caçamos animais. Aprendemos a controlar nossa sede... Mas você e seu perfume. É como uma droga para mim.É como se você fosse uma heroína feita para mim".

Posteriormente, o vampiro inimigo de nome James, espírito assassino, sedento de sangue humano sente a brisa do perfume de Bella e, obcecado pelo cheiro da amada de Edward, ele passa a caçá-la.

E, enquanto Edward ajuda Bella a escapar deste perigoso vampiro, ele diz à amada: "James é um rastreador. Ele vai rastrear o seu perfume."

Quantas vezes também somos perseguidos ou perseguimos aromas que trazem memórias a nós ou a outras pessoas? É como ter sede! O cheiro obsessivo das lembranças e, logo, a oportunidade de relembrá-las para então, matá-las ou fazê-las viver para sempre.

Agora fica mais fácil entender porque eles produziram um perfume Twilight, que por sinal e neste contexto , não tem nada a ver com Sarah Jessica Parker e nem com Nina Ricci. Qualquer semelhança de nome e frasco é circunstância cômica do que acontece na indústria de perfumes, afinal é difícil entender porque Twilight tem o frasco semelhante a Nina de Nina Ricci e Sarah Jessica Parker decidiu batizar seu novo perfume de Twilight...confuso, não é mesmo?

Por isso, há questões obscuras que devem ficar no crepúsculo.

This week I watched again the movie Twilight, based on the trillionaire best-seller romance written by Stephenie Meyer. The cinema version is now available in the video locators in the country and I've decided to tell you about the perfume on cinema, as I had done when I related you some thoughts about The Scent of a Woman, with Al Pacino.

Apart from my "teen" emotions, that happily happen one hour or other(and I am an experienced woman, I know it), I have to confess that Robert Pattinson playing the role of the vampire Edward Cullen is very gorgeous and sexy. He would suck all my blood, preferably if my beautiful neck was deliciously fragrant. But imaginary flirts on the side, I am here to tell you an interesting point about this movie, discretely placed in some scenes during the movie: Bella's scent, character played by the actress Kristen Stewart.

The scent is the untouchable substance, incredible and seductive one also for imortals. Imagine that, beyond the blood that are in veins, so desired in vampires stories, there is a smell that covers this vibrant pulse between veins and skin: our own smell, our own perfume. Able to cast a spell on creatures, no matter they are mortals or imortals, real or imaginary, docile or dangerous, the skin scent tears our fleshes and establishes a visceral contact among body, spirit and soul, the life triangle, the life that someone can smell on us.

The scent... the perfume of Bella attracts vampires and, in tales, vampires suck life, this energy that starts and ends everything, at least, the physical one. In certain way, attracted by an aroma, they wish to suck this fragrant aura and, feel the flavor of some perfume in the blood.

Starting from Edward who, in a memorable quote, says to Bella:

"My family, we're different from others of our kind. We only hunt animals. We've learned to control our thirst . But it's you, your scent. It's like a drug to me. You're like my own personal brand of heroin".



Later, an enemy vampire called James, murder spirit and thirsty by human blood feels the scent of Bella and, obsessed by the smell of Edward's girlfriend, he starts to hunt her.

And, while helping Bella to escape from this dangerous vampire, Edward says to her: "James is tracker . He is just gonna trace your scent."


How many times we are also persued or persue scents that bring us and others some memories? It is like to have a thirst! The obsessive smell of our memories and, then, the chance of remember them to, kill them or just make them live forever.


Now it is easier to realize why they produce a Twilight perfume, by the way, in this context this fragrance does not have any relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker neither Nina Ricci. Any similarity between their names and bottles is a comic circumstance what happens in the perfume industry, after all, it is very hard to understand why Twilight has a very similar bottle with Nina Ricci Nina and Sarah Jessica Parker decided to bless her new perfume as Twilight...situations like that are confuse, aren't they?

Because of that, there are obscure questions that have to be kept in the twilight.
