2009 Top 10 Melhores Fragrâncias de Celebridades/ 2009 Top 10 Best Celebrity Fragrances

Há um tempo considerável os lançamentos de fragrâncias de celebridades têm sido uma recorrência praticamente epidêmica na indústria de perfumes e, embora eu não seja tão entusiasta deste movimento e de 90% das "Celebrity Fragrances", eu respeito o trabalho que há em colocar uma fragrância no mercado, seja ela boa ou ruim ainda que eu saiba que, na maioria das vezes, elas servem mais para vender a imagem de sucesso e têm o desafio constante de abocanhar uma fatia de market share do que, propriamente, trazer ao consumidor um perfume interessante, criativo e cativante. Apesar destes fatores, a partir do momento que estamos sensibilizados de que há esforços humanos, principalmente de grandes profissionais por trás destas fragrâncias, entendemos que não é necessário julgamentos esnobes e sim críticas construtivas.


Pensando sob a ótica de que há um longo caminho para compor, distribuir e comercializar fragrâncias, principalmente, lidar com clientes gigantes e poderosos como Coty, Elizabeth Arden e Parlux que costumam licenciar vários perfumes de celebridades, não custa avaliá-los e verificar se algo apetece o gosto perfumístico de cada um de nós. Eu, na minha experiência pessoal, encontrei algumas fragrâncias de celebridades que se tornaram úteis para o dia a dia, significando também uma boa relação custo x benefício e preenchendo uma das vertentes de meu gosto perfumístico, por exemplo, uma ou outra nota gourmand ou uma nuance frutal mais acentuada.


Por isso apresento-lhes o top 10 das fragrâncias de celebridades que, atualmente, considero as 10 melhores do mercado e também relato uma breve marca de personalidade destas fragrâncias que as fazem ser "good crushes". No decorrer do ano, as resenhas oficiais das pendentes e outras mais serão realizadas, com todo o prazer , conhecimento e seriedade costumeiros. Como a indústria adora lançar um perfume em uma velocidade de crescimento fora do comum, basta pensar que Avril Lavigne e Halle Berry já estão com fragrâncias novas em início de vendas e/ou lançamentos, é provável que esta seleção mude, mas não na mesma velocidade de lançamentos purpurinados, afinal agradar meu nariz não é uma tarefa muito fácil(risos).


Destaques especiais para Sarah Jessica Parker, Britney Spears e Jennifer Lopez que, cada um a seu estilo, conseguem vencer qualquer preconceito, vendem bem e conquistam fãs fiéis em todo o mundo. Particulamente, Sarah Jessica Parker é minha preferida no quesito de "celebrity fragrances", muito devido à sua criteriosidade no acompanhamento de toda a produção do perfume, veia de negócios, bom humor e ótimo nariz , o que só vem a agregar ao consumidor que gosta das fragrâncias SJP.

Uma ótima e peculiar composição considerando a audácia tanto de SJP quanto do perfumista em criar um mix com os extremos fresco-calor. M Mariah Carey: Primeiro perfume de Mariah Carey leva marshmallow como nota principal. É jovial, açucarado também a flor de Tiaré e com um base doce incensada bem marcada entre o marshmallow e o patchouli. Muito charmoso para garotas movidas a aromas doces.


With Love Hillary Duff: De forma surpreendente, o perfume da estrela Hillary não é o típico "Barbie be", do contrário tem um tom especiado com o frutal da manga e um confortável efeito do âmbar que dá uma certa orientalidade "adulta" à fragrância. Vale a pena experimentar pois não é girlie nem adolescente como esperado.


Fabulosity Kimona Lee Simmons: Esta fragrância tem uma base abaunilhada bem cativante no qual a vanilla e o âmbar são bem misturados ao mix de frutas, mantendo mais o duo baunilha-frutas que flores-frutas ( e é um floral frutal), além disso o aroma é encorpado e sedoso por conta do adociçado reforçado pelo coconut. Neste caso, melhor provar um doce Kimona que uma flor de Paris Hilton...


He Usher for men: Usher tem a melhor fragrância masculina entre as de celebridades, sob o ponto de vista da elaboração das notas. O início é fresco e dá um senso de liberdade como sua própria dança, posteriormente, o aroma fica mais fechado para um tom apimentado que se equilibra com um confortável amadeirado, uma aproximação mais sedutora. O lado "hot" deixa a fragrância mais máscula.


Instinct for men David Beckham: Os homens sempre não têm muitas opções quando o assunto é celebrity fragrance, infelizmente. No caso de David Beckham, que ainda apresenta um set contínuo de perfumes, ele mantém uma linearidade nas fragrâncias, todas representam um bom custo x benefício para os que desejam uma fragrância diária, sem grandes propósitos sedutores, nada muito exclusivo. Instinct tem o frescor das notas cítricas que se desenvolvem para um amadeirado patchuliano. Não espere mais que isso, mesmo que seja um metrossexual como Beckham...

There has been a reasonable time that releases of celebrity fragrances have been a type of epidemy in perfume industry and , even though I am not a fan of this movement and of 90% of "Celebrity Fragrances", I respect the fact of how the industry works hard to place fragrances in the sales market, no matter if the fragrance is good or bad. Even if I know that, most of times, they serve more to sell the celebrity successful image and have the continuous challenge of taking one more piece of market share than bringuing to the consumer an interesting, creative and captivating perfume. Despite of these factors, from the moment we all are aware and sensitive that there are human efforts, mainly efforts of great professionals behind these fragrances, we understand that it is not necessary snobbish judgments, of course only constructive criticism.


Thinking under this angle that there is a long path to compose, distribute and sell fragrances, mainly, deal with giant and powerful companies as Coty, Elizabeth Arden and Parlux which license various celebrity fragrances, so it is worth to evaluate these perfumes and verify if some of them are good enough to be fit to each one fragrant tastes. About me, in my personal experience, I have found some celebrity fragrances which become useful to the daily use and mean a good relation between cost x benefit, moreover they fill one of the characteristics of my scented taste, for example, one or another gourmand note or a nice fruity chord.


Because of it, I introduce to you the top 10 Best Celebrity Fragrances that currently I consider as the best 10 in the market and also I tell you a brief personality feature of these fragrances that make them be "good crushes". During the year, official pending perfume reviews and much more about celebrity fragrances will be done, with pleasure, knowledge and seriouness as always. As this industry enjoys launching in a fast way these types of fragrances, just think that Avril Lavigne and Halle Berry have already début fragrances starting sales or in progressive release, so there is a clear possibility that this selection will be change, but not so fast as these purpurin releases, finally and by the way, it is not easy to please my nose...laugh...

Special highlights to Sarah Jessica Parker, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez that , each one with their styles, could overcome any prejudice, sell well and also conquer loyal fans around the world. Personally, Sarah Jessica Parker is my fav one when the issue is "celebrity fragrances", much more because of her efforts in following the development of her perfumes, her business vein, good humor sense and excellent nose, what just comes to add value to the fragrances and also to the SJP consumer.

Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker: A perfume that praises the good taste and feminility of SJP. Delicateness, romantism and natural elegance in one perfume that covers the skin with a modern floral ambery and musky base , very light, intimate and distinctive.


Lovely Liquid Satin Sarah Jessica Parker: The version of Lovely Liquid Satin has an addictive apple note and is "alcohol-free", good reasons to its purchase. It is a delicious fragrance, a sérum which cares the skin and the olfaction. There is no doubts, this is a "SJP must-have".


Live Jennifer Lopez: J.Lo fragrances focus, mainly, the accord sur accord musky floral with fruity ones, tipically valuing the latin and sensual aura of this singer and actress. Live has the sweetness of pineapple and red currant, always vibrant. Take a look at J.Lo Live on this link.
The sold out limited edition of J.Lo Miami Glow and its energic and sensual summer mix with milky notes of coconut is still the best of J.Lo, but taking into consideration that Miami Glow is out of the regular market, I select Live.


Covet Sarah Jessica Parker: Creation of the nose Frank Voelkl, Covet is the second fragrance of SJP featuring an interesting start of lemon, lavender and geranium, fresh and green but that is also warmed up by a chocolate and woody base as two big aromatic extremes. A very good and peculiar composition considering the audaciouness of SJP and the perfumer, creating a mix with the opposite sides of freshness and warmth. M Mariah Carey: First perfume of Mariah Carey has marshmallow as main note. It is youthful, candied also by Tiare flower and an incense sweet base , deeply built also by marshmallow and patchouli accords. A very charmous fragrance for young women moved by sweet aromas.


With Love Hillary Duff: In a surprising way, the perfume of the teen star Hillary is not the typical "Barbie be", on the contrary, it has a spicy tone with the mango fruit and the ambery effect, which gives certain "adult" orientality to the fragrance. It is worth to try because it is not too girlie and teen as expected.


Fabulosity Kimona Lee Simmons: This fragrance has a captivating vanilic base in which the vanilla and the amber are mixed to the fruits cocktail, keeping much more the duo vanilla-fruits than flowers-fruits ( and this one is a fruity floral), moreover the aroma is soft, reinforced by the coconut milk note. In this case, it is better to smell a Kimona candied scent than sniffing a Paris Hilton flower...


He Usher for men: Usher has the best male fragrances among the celebrity ones, under the evaluation of the notes elaboration. The start is fresh and provides a sense of freedom like his own dance, later the scent becomes more closed covered by a peppery undertone that is balanced to a confortable woody scent, a more seductive approach. The "hot" side of the fragrance turns He Usher more virile.


Instinct for men David Beckham: Normally, men do not have many fragrance options when the issue is celebrity fragrance, what is regretful. Regarding to David Beckham, who still presents a range of continuous perfumes releases, he has kept a linearity in his fragrances, all represent a good relation between cost and benefit for those who wish a daily fragrance, without big seduction purposes, nothing much exclusive. Instinct has the freshness of citrusy notes and is developed to a patchulian woody scent. Do not expect more than that, even if you are so metrosexual as Beckham...
