Perfume Review: Sensi, Giorgio Armani

Perfume são eternos, ainda que eles sejam substituídos por outros perfumes ou simplesmente se evaporam  à mando das respectivas marcas, muitas vezes tomadas por decisões tão sem sentido quando avaliamos perfumes belíssimos que foram descontinuados; ainda assim, o cheiro marcante de uma vida não saí da pele, não saí da memória, ele é sublimado ainda mais na impossibilidade dele escapar à pele, ora por estar ausente ora, após o frasco que se esvazia, restam somente gotas de lágrimas ao invés de perfumes. Não importa, ele ainda é elevado a uma grandeza superior: o da existência, de ter existido em nós como uma marca adotada de nascença, invisível para sempre. 

Giorgio Armani Sensi, na sua versão original e eau de parfum, criada em 2002 é uma fragrância que eu intitulo como um "Tatoo scent". Ela marcou minha pele para não mais ser esquecida por ser um dos grandes perfumes  clássicos mais modernos que tenho grande apreço. Ainda que  ele permaneça na minha coleção de perfumes, raramente usado, seu poder sobre minha memória olfativa é tão forte como sua ostensível entrada de Lima Kaffir e Acacia Farnesi, embaladas pelo bem pronunciado, um notável jasmim que dá uma personalidade majestal e refinada ao perfume, valorizando mais ainda este floral oriental sedutor, evocativamente exótico, um perfume para inesquecíveis mulheres que se fazem sentir através dos sentidos que impulsionam sobre os outros e sobre si mesmas.

Sensi é como "sentir" a ele próprio, profundamente assim como a relação que temos com os perfumes, tão expressa na publicidade de Sensi e, ao sentí-lo, temos duas escolhas: amá-lo ou odía-lo. As expressivas notas florais adocicadas sufocam qualquer frescor inicial ainda há uma ligeira  inicial impressão frutal que se mistura à sensação clássica dos aldeídicos engradecidos por suntuosas flores brancas, sedosas, aveludadas. Assim como fragrâncias femininas sublimes com acordes florais baseados na sensualidade de flores como tuberosa, jasmim, flor de laranjeira, etc, o bouquet floral vibra com uma orientalidade amadeirada, muito refinada, destacada pelo palissandre que, no decorrer do desenvolvimento, se torna maravilhosamente comfortável com toques de florais abaunilhados levemente balsâmicos sem, felizmente, exageros de benzoim,logo toques macios como sentir o tecido de uma peça Giorgio Armani são um deleite, deixar Sensi tornar a pele libidinosa como o desejo incontrolável de vestir um Armani.

E, de incontroláveis sentimentos distintos, vive um apaixonado por perfumes que entre o amor e o ódio, vê um perfume nada ordinário sair de circulação, pelo menos, Sensi não está mais disponível aqui e, raramente, é encontrado nesta vida de encontros e desencontros, nesta vida de perfumada nostalgia. Em homenagem a tão grandes perfumes descontinuados e/ou raros e, como forma de dizer: voltem a abraçar nossa pele!, despeço-me usando mais uma gota de Sensi, mais uma gota de saudade.

Perfume are eternal, even they are replaced by others ones or simply they evaporate by order of their respective brands, many times making  non sense decisions when we see beautiful fragrances being discontinuated; even so the remarkable scent is kept on skin, hasn't left the memory , it is exalted much more in its impossibility  to escape from skin, sometimes because it is absent, sometimes , after its bottle is empty, remain only some tears drops instead of perfume ones. It doesn't matter, at the end, the perfume is sublimated to a superior grandeur: the existence, of having existed in us such an adopted birthmark, invisible forever.

Giorgio Armani Sensi, in its original first version and eau de parfum, composed in 2002 is a fragrance that I name as "Tatoo scent type". It marked my skin to be never forgotten being one of the great modern classics that I have a beloved esteem. Although it is kept in my perfume collection, rarely worn, its power on my olfactive memory is so strong like its  ostensive opening of Kaffir Lime and Farnese Acacia,  allured by a well pronounced noticeable jasmine note which provides a refined and majestic personality to the perfume, valuing much more this oriental seductive fragrance,evocativelly exotic ,one scent for unforgettable women who are able to make be felt through their senses magnetism on others and on themselves.

Sensi is like"to feel" itself, deeply like the relationship we have with perfumes, so expressed in Sensi advertisement  and, when the scent is felt, we have two choices: love it or hate it. Expressive sweet floral notes  overcome any initial freshness, yet there is a subtle initial fruity impression which is  mixed to the classic sensation of aldehydes exalted by sultry white flowers, soft , velvety. As well as sublime feminine fragrances with floral accords based on the sensuality of some flowers like tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom, etc; the floral bouquet vibrates  with a woody orientality , very elegant, highlighted by palisander wood which, in the course of the development, becomes wonderfully comfortable with touches of vanillic florals slightly balsamic without, happily, no overdoses of benzoim, therefore soft tones like to touch the fabric of a Giorgio Armani's clothing piece are delightful, to let Sensi warming up the libidinous skin, so irresistible like the uncontrolled desire to dress an Armani.

And, under different uncontrolled feelings, a perfume lover lives, between the love and the hate,  and see an unsual and interesting perfume be discontinuated, at least, Sensi  is not more available here and are seldom found in this life filled by  gains and losses, in this life of fragrant nostalgia.  To pay homage to these great discontinuated  and/or rare perfumes and, as a way of saying:  come back to us, embrace our skins!, I say goodbye wearing one more drop of  Sensi, one more drop of nostalgia.

PRN Tip: If you don't find Sensi anymore, you should wear  Boucheron Initial and Yves Saint Laurent Cinèma. They are not similar, but they are suitable for women who enjoy Sensi.
