Perfume Review: Sicily, Dolce & Gabbana, by Italo Wolff

Um aroma de muitas faces, comercial, porém complexo, a primeira impressão é apenas um floral simples e fácil de se encontrar, mas com vários usos e com a descoberta lenta e gradual de cada acorde, percebemos a beleza escondida atrás o frasco minimalista e simplório, que porta um líquido de cor amarelo ouro, que após aspergido na pele não evapora por completo.

Como um balé de notas a saída é completamente óbvia de quase todos os perfumes atualmente criados, se diferencia por uma nota extremamente inovadora e que pode parecer estranha a alguns narizes; é um acorde sintético que se assemelha à banana, esse acorde sintético de aroma de banana é doce e gustativo, porém se assemelha mais a côco, com uma cremosidade criativa em meio às bergamotas e flores de laranjeira, mas essa ainda não é a faceta S do perfume, mas, de certo um de seus diferenciais.

Com o desenrolar do perfume sobre a pele o sentimos aquecer, mas de modo muito discreto, surge um acorde jasminal e sexual, mesclado a rosas vermelhas e frescas e a um toque especiado de noz moscada. Essa fase é quase animal, pois o jasmim usado nesse perfume é cru e sujo e sua rosa é dócil que ameniza toda essa potência causada pelo acorde branco do jasmineiro em floração, a noz moscada atua como coadjuvante apenas aquecendo as outras notas florais, o que aumenta ainda mais a sofisticação do aroma.

A base intensifica a sexualidade envolvente de Sicily, carregada em almíscar e sândalo, e mesclada a heliótropio, um aroma doce e sensual com tons de côco abaunilhado e gorduroso, carnudo e maduro, a impressão é de tomar a refrescante água e depois abrir e devorar toda a carne gelatinosa e suculenta. Por fim, um almíscar persistente e animal fica na pele por horas seguidas.

A mais forte impressão é de um perfume inocente e sexual, simples, modesto, mas ele se revela diferente e complexo, como a lembrança de uma mulher sóbria e clássica, mas que sabe que seu real poder de sedução não precisa de exageros. Sicily não precede a mulher que o porta, cai suavemente sobre a pele se deixa levar suavemente pelo vento, não é invasivo como o D&G tradicional (baseado em exageros), este tem como característica principal o equilíbrio de notas e acima de tudo o caráter sexual mascarado, pois seu almíscar não é descarado, ao contrário é envolto em inúmeras outras notas que só o deixam aparecer como um traço sutil.

Imaginar a ilha Siciliana é muito mais romântico com este perfume, um aroma brilhante como a maioria dos perfumes italianos, repleto de frescor na saída, mas de magnífico e distinto caráter na evolução.

Assim D&G, afirma sua excelência em fragrâncias sensuais e femininas com seus extremos, o seu primeiro é uma afirmação de extrema extravagância enquanto seu Sicily é a firmação de pura classe e fino trato, mas que mesmo assim mantém o fetiche. É uma jovem mulher que usa vestido tubinho composto em estilo Chanel, e que por baixo dele esconde uma lasciva lingerie que deixaria qualquer homem com seus desejos e fantasias à flor da pele só de imaginar. Sempre que sinto Sicily me vem à mente a imagem da modelo Twiggy, que se destacou no seu tempo por ser dona de um olhar profundo e misterioso, que trajava roupas de sobriedade extrema e mesmo assim era a personificação da feminilidade.

A smell of many faces, commercial, however complex, the first impression is just a simple floral fragrance and easy to find, but after several uses and the slow and gradual discovery of each accord, we noticed the beauty hidden behind the minimalist and simpleton bottle which carries a liquid of yellow gold color that doesn't evaporate entirely after having sprinkled on the skin.

As a ballet of notes, the opening is completely obvious as most of the perfumes have created until now, it differs itself for an extremely innovative note which may be strange for some noses; it is a synthetic accord that reminds of banana, this aroma of banana is sweet and gourmand, however after reminds more of a coconut note with a its creative velvetlike surface in the middle of bergamot and orange blossoms, but that is not still the facet S of the perfume, but certainly,one of its distinctive feature.

As the perfume develops on the skin, we feel the fragrance warms the skin, in a very discrete way an accord of jasmine, sexual appears blended to red and fresh roses and spicy nutmegs. This fragrant phase is almost animal, because the jasmine used in the perfume it is raw and dirty, and its rose is docile that softens the whole potency caused by the white accord of jasmine which is blooming, the nutmeg acts as a support just warming up the other floral notes, what increases more the sophistication of the aroma.

The base intensifies the involving sexuality of Sicily, loaded in musk and sandalwood, and blended to heliotrope, a sweet and sensual aroma with tones of coconut vanilic and greasy, fleshy and ripe, the impression is something like taking the refreshing water and later opening and devouring the whole gelatinous and succulent coconut pulp. Finally a persistent and animal musk is on the skin during the following hours.

The stronger impression wearing Sicily is about wearning an innocent and sexual, simple and modest perfume, but the fragrance is revealed different and complex, as a sober and classic woman's memory, a woman who knows her real seduction power, who doesn't need exaggerations. Sicily doesn't precede the woman that wears it, the fragrance rests smoothly on the skin, let itself be taken also smoothly by the wind; moreover it is not strong like traditional D&G (based on exaggerations), Sicily has as main characteristic the balance of notes and above all the masked sexual character, because its musk is not shameless, in the opposite it is envolved by a host of notes which only let to appear on the fragrance a subtle line.

Imagining the Sicilian island is much more romantic wearning this perfume, a brilliant aroma as most of the Italian perfumes, replete of freshness in its opening, but also owner of a magnificent and different character in the evolution.

In this manner D&G affirms its excellence in producing sensual and feminine fragrances in its limits, its first fragrance is a statement of extreme extravagance while Sicily is the statement of pure class and fine treatment, even it is kept some fetish. Sicily woman is a youth lady who wears these classic "tube dress" composed as a Chanel style and, under the dress is hidden a lascivous lingerie which would let any man with his desires and fantasies feeling them deeply and personally on his skin just in his imagination. Whenever I feel Sicily it comes to my mind the image of the model Twiggy, who was the mainstream during her fashion times because of her deep and mysterious glance, who dressed clothes with sobriety and even so it was the personification of the femininity.
