Trabalhar vários sentidos juntos é a maior dádiva das sensações, principalmente quando há uma experiência olfativa com maravilhosos perfumes e uma apaixonante cultura . Esta semana iniciei um mergulho fascinante em um universo perfumístico no qual o cantar, o ouvir, o ler , o escrever e o sentir aromas envolve uma perfumaria pela qual tenho uma profunda admiração, a italiana e um dos maiores compositores italianos de óperas, Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924), o meu preferido junto com grandes cantores(as) da música erudita. Nesta experiência selecionei 5 fragrâncias de perfume houses da Itália para estar aqui nos próximos 5 dias; perfumes que estarão relacionadas com famosas Óperas de Puccini a partir do meu olhar; uma diferente interpretação por amor aos perfumes e em reconhecimento ao talento excepcional das fragrâncias produzidas na Itália, assim como a arte musical clássica.
A primeira delas vêm da Eau d' Italie dirigida pelos fundadores Marina Sersale e Sebastián Alvarez Murena. Sua primeira fragrância, Eau d'Italie foi inspirada pelo Hotel Sirunese cuja propriedade é tradicionalmente da família Sersale and ainda funciona na cidade de Positano como um hotel luxuoso 5 estrelas. Desde o lançamento de Eau d'Italie o portfólio de fragrâncias da marca tem aumentado, atualmente são 6 fragrâncias que têm sido reconhecidas em editoriais na Allure e Men's Health.
Paestum Rose é a segunda fragrância, lançada em 2006 e criada pelo nèz Bertrand Duchaufour que, desde este ano, é perfumista in-house da L'Artisan Parfumeur. Bertrand compôs um perfume incrível para a Eau d'Italie, muito delicado e, ao mesmo tempo com grande personalidade como fragrância de nicho através de um belo conceito bem característico da Itália. A fragrância é baseada nas rosas da cidade romana de Paestum, lugar que guarda uma forte mitologia grega e conhecida pelo templo dedicado à deusa das mulheres e do casamento, Hera. Dizem que as rosas nascem nas proximidades dos templos e, por isso, são como flores divinas, flores de onírica beleza consagradas a deusas cujo aroma clássicos das rosas se mistura a contemporaneidade mítica de finas matérias primas da perfumaria tida como arte.
Paestum Rose desabrocha através de suas estonteantes pétalas um aroma que, na minha pele, o classificaria como oriental alcóolico especiado amadeirado. As notas de saída tem uma matéria fragrante que lembra conhaque, levemente oriental, herbal e amadeirado cuja delicadeza provoca a própria vontade de degustar a nota, como degustar uma bebida. Embora não seja comum encontrar perfumes com a cara Davana, acredito que esta nota inicial seja exatamente ela que, de forma envolvente é afetada por acordes especiados e apimentados como pimenta roseira, coriandro, groselha negra e, belamente, é tirada de cena como a passagem de uma ária a outra com a beleza sutil das rosas que surgem, brilhantes em um primeiro momento antes da entrada resinosa do patchouli e da mirra, respectivamente nesta ordem, mais evidentes na pele em uma bela base floral incensada de tênue efeito balsâmico. O sillage é excelente , mas não poderoso ao extremo, assim como o poder de fixação que suavemente acompanha a pele como os ouvidos acompanham a encantadora voz de uma soprano. O mix completo do perfume leva notas de Davana, canela, pimenta rosa, coriandro, groselha negra, flor de osmanthus,pêonia, rosa Turca, chá, resinas da elemieira, incenso, mirra, opoponax, madeira de cedro, papiro, patchouli, wenge, vétiver, almíscar e benjoin.
Respirar Paestum Rose e inspirar-se é lembrar de Mimì da ópera La Bohème. Embora ela, assim como a característica da obra seja relacionada a um nível social baixo da sociedade, a de proletariados e a fragrância seja um luxo em forma de arte, a beleza da fragrância é exatamente colocar Mimì como uma mulher que pode subir a um nível de deusa, de exaltação como uma figura divina e imortalizada, como uma Hera entre as mulheres em um jardim de Rosas de Paestum. Uma mulher que, mesmo estando enferma por causa de uma tuberculose, entre a vida e morte, ainda canta o amor junto com o poeta Rodolfo, ainda pode florescer para uma nova vida, mesmo que seja em um jardim mítico. Sendo assim, meu sentimento "olfativo" é ligar os dois extremos, as duas rosas, a da rica elegância da fragrância e da pobre costureira da obra de Puccini para que, juntas, elas possam exalar uma única rosa primordial e a canção cantada por Mimì, a canção no qual ela fala dela e das rosas: "Sí. Mi chiamano Mimì, ma il mio nome è Lucia... ed è mio svago, far gigli e rose, mi piaccion quelle cose, che han sì dolce malìa, che parlano d'amor, di primavere, di sogni e di chimere..." (Sim, me chamo Mimì, mas meu nome é Lúcia ... e este é o meu tempo, fazer lírios e rosas, eu gosto destas coisas que tem um cheiro doce, que falam de amor, da primavera, dos sonhos e das fantasias..." Joing many senses together is the biggest gift of sensations, mainly when there is an olfactory experience with wonderful perfumes and a delightful culture. This week I 've surrended myself in a fascinating fragrant universe in which the singing, the listening, the reading, the writing and the smelling of aromas involve a perfumery for what I have a deep admiration, the Italian perfumery and, also, one of the renowned italian opera composers, Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924), my favorite one together with great singers of erudite music. In this experience I have selected 5 fragrances of Italian perfume houses to stay here in the last 5 days; perfumes that are related to famous Puccini's operas under my eye; a different interpretation that I am going to write you about for the love of perfumes and in order to recognize the outstanding talent of the fragrances produced in Italy, as well as the classical musical art.
The first is a fragrance from Eau d' Italie , a perfume house directed by the founders Marina Sersale and Sebastián Alvarez Murena. Its first fragrance Eau d'Italie was inspired by the Sirunese Hotel whose ownership is traditionally from the Sersale's family and still runs in the city of Positano in a luxurious 5 stars hotel. Since the release of Eau d'Italie, the brand range of fragrances has increased, now existing 6 fragrances that have been recognized by magazine editorials as Allure and Men's Health.
Paestum Rose is the second fragrance released in 2006 and created by the nèz Bertrand Duchaufour who, since this year, is the in-house perfumeur of L'Artisan Parfumeur. Bertrand composed an amazing perfume for Eau d'Italie, very delicate and, on the same time, with a strong personality as a niche fragrance through a gorgeous concept,very characteristic of Italy. The fragrance is based on the roses that blossom in the roman city of Paestrum, a place that holds a vigorous Greek mythology and known by a temple dedicated to the divinity of the women and the marriage, Hera. It is said that roses flourish near to the temples and, because of it, they are as divine flowers; flowers of oniric beauty rendered as workship for goddesses and whose classical aroma is blended to the mythical contemporaneity of fine raw materials used in the perfumery considered as an art work.
Paestum Rose opens through its dazzling petals a smell which, on my skin, I would classify as woody spicy oriental alcoholic. The opening notes have a fragrant material that reminds me of a cognac, slightly oriental, herbal and woody whose delicateness provokes the will of tasting the note as degusting a beverage. Even tough it is not commom to find in perfumes the expensive Davana, I believe that this initial note is exactly this Artemisia note is affected, in a envolving manner, by peppery and spicy accords as pink pepper, coriander and blackcurrant and, beautifully, opens space for the sutile beauty of the roses as I could feel the musical passages between opera arias. The roses appear in a brilliant way before the resinous coming of the patchouli and myrrh, respectively more evident on the skin in this order and surrounded by a incense floral base with dusting of balsamic resins. The sillage and the longlasting are excellent, but not overpowering and they softly follow the skin as the ears follow the enchanting voice of a soprano. The complete mix of the fragrance features notes of Davana, cinnamon, rose pepper, coriander, blackcurrant, osmanthus flower, peony, Turkish rose, tea, elemi, incense, myrrh, opoponax, cedarwood, papyrus, patchouli, wenge, vetiver, musk and benzoin.
Inhaling Paestum Rose and be inspired by this Eau d'Italie is remember of Mimì of the opera La Bohème. Altough she and the masterpiece caractheristic are related to a low society level, beloging to the proletariate and the fragrance be a luxurious good in form of perfumery art, the beauty of the fragrance is exactly to place Mimì as a woman who can step and move to a higher level, the level of a goddness, honoured to be exalted as a divinity and imortal woman, as a Hera among the ladies in a Garden of Paestum Roses. A woman that, even she is sick dying of tuberculosis, between the life and the death, she stills sing the love together with her beloved poet Rodolfo, so there is a possibility to bloom herself for a new life, even she goes to a mythical garden. Then, my "olfactive" feeling is to connect these two extremes, both roses: the rich refined fragrance and the poor seamster lady of this Puccini's piece for both exhalte the unique prime rose and the song sung by Mimì, the song that she tells about her and the roses : "Sí. A fragrância leva muitas notas mas nem todas tem um efeito protagonista no desenvolvimento, sendo assim, devem estão no mix para culminarem em um bom resultado olfativo; a começar pelas rosas. A aura incensada, miticamente influenciada pelas especiarias tornam Paestum Rose uma fragrância que emociona pela beleza artística, lembrando exatamente a riqueza cultural proveniente da Itália, de tantos impérios.

The fragrance has many notes but not all have the protagonist effect in the development, after all, they are in the mix to culminate in a good olfactory result; starting from the roses, for example.
