Background: Quiksilver for men é a nova fragrância da famosa marca australiana de surf e sportwear Quiksilver cujas vendas foram reforçadas, coincidentemente ou não, na chegada do nosso ardente Verão. Quiksilver é a primeira fragrância masculina e foi criada em linha com o estilo do homem Quiksilver e do apaixonante esporte Surf: totalmente refrescante e aromática assim como estar cercado pela natureza verde e pelo mar salgado e azul. A fragrância tem um apelo marinho com notas cítricas como a laranja, verdes como o eucalipto e aromáticas especiadas como o tomilho e foi composta para ser mais "natural e orgânica", amiga do meio ambiente contendo sândalo extraído de comunidades aborígenes da Austrália. O face da fragrância é o campeão Francês de Surf, Jeremy Flores: Jovem, bonito, de bem com a vida e movido à adrenalina como todo bom e talentoso surfista.
Desenvolvimento: Quicksilver for Men é agradavelmente aromática e perfumadamente " fresca e livre" como a sensação de sentir a água do mar molhando a pele e o vento da maresia a secando em uma ato de liberdade. As notas de cabeça cítricas contêm a energia da composição com destaque para um acorde mais "limonada", mas são rendidas pelo refrescante e verde calor do tomilho, delicadamente condimentando Quicksilver com nuances herbais deliciosamente aromáticas e, mais viris, por conta do eucalipto. Quiksilver provoca os sentidos com o natural cheiro do homem em contato com a natureza: sensualmente sem camisa, com o corpo e os cabelos molhados e aquelas gotículas levemente salgadas sobre a pele bronzeada a atrair os olhares femininos. Background: Quiksilver for men is the new fragrance of the famous Australian Surf and Sportwear's brand Quiksilver whose sales were reinforced, coincidentally or not, in the coming of this Summer. Quiksilver is its first male fragrance and was created aligned to the style of Quiksilver man and the passionate surf sport: entirely refreshing and aromatic as being surrounded by the green nature and the salty blue sea. The fragrance has the marine scented appeal with citrusy notes such as orange, green notes such as eucalipt and spicy aromatic accord such as the thyme and was composed to be more "natural and organic", environmentally friendly containing sandalwood extracted in Aborigean communities in Australia. The face of the fragrance is the French Surf champion, Jeremy Flores: Young, handsome, leading a good healthy life and moved by the adrenaline as any good and talented surfer.
Development: Quicksilver for Men is pleasantly aromatic and fragrantly "fresh and free" like the sensation of feeling the sea water wetting the skin and the maresias wind drying it as a freedom act. Its citrusy head notes contain the energy of the composition having a "lemonade accord" as scented spotlight, but are rendered by the refreshing and green warmth of the thyme, delicately "flavoring" Quicksilver with delightful herbaceous nuances and, more virile, due to eucalyptus. This aromatic accord quick reminds of notes such as sage and rosemary and their medicinal properties of bringing wellness to individuals and, a sport like the surf is a medicine filling the soul, the body and the spirit. Later at the end of the development, the aquatic effect is evident, but not so highlighted because of the presence of sandalwood, "earthier" providing a more sensual and woodier overtone, more earth less sea, emphasizing , in this manner, the plenitude of Quiksilver man's character.
The best of the fragrance: Besides its versatility, the aromatic "green" aspect of light spices and the well-harmonised "salty and marine" accord become the fragrance aligned to the Sportman and suggests a spontaneous sensuality commonly natural in various ages. Quiksilver provokes the senses with a natural man scent in contact with the nature: sensually without T-shirt, with wet body and hair and those slightly salty droplets on the tanned skin, sexy enough to attract female glances. "Undoubtedly, I remember of the surf and my ex-affair, a surfer".
The worst of the fragrance : As expected for this type of fragrance, its long-lasting power should be improved.

One of the main leading companies in fragrances and flavors, the Givaudan has kept a programme of Environmental Sustainability (Innovative Naturals Programme) in raw materials implementing it in some world regions such as Latin America and Asia, valuing the nature preservation and the contribution to local communities through initiatives which align the perfumery business with the social responsability of being eco and humanly friendly. A variety of sandalwood oil from Givaudan, as used in Quiksilver, was extracted from the Western of Australia, where the company has kept the programme.
I wish that new best practices examples in sustainability be applied by the perfumery, finally, companies, stop the exploration of the animal and vegetal nature, let's have an industry ecologically, socially and ethically responsible.
