Now it is time to play, let apart some samples and perfume bottles and enjoy with my friends, perfume bloggers and, of course, you, my loyal blog reader.
Perfume da Rosa Negra has been tagged (a tag game play among perfumes, fashion and beauty bloggers). I am happy that it happens because it shows the materialization of a fragrant dream, seeing the blog becoming a pleasant reading among so many perfume lovers and, specially, among perfume writers that know how time and work we have dedicated for the love of perfumes, creating a special foro in order to people know about this precious art.
I greatly thank sweet Divina of Fragrance Bouquet, her wonderful blog, one of my warm readings about perfume, the life and emotions. I like her style of writing, closer to the reader and intimist. At this point, there is an identification between us. Divina blog together with Bois de Jasmin of Victoria and Now Smell this of Robin are the first blogs that I started to read before creating mine. The other nice person that I thank is Abigail, my Perfumecritic colleague, perfume writer at I smell therefore I am and owner of The Post Peasant. I have never forgotten when she said to me that enjoys my blog; in that moment it was a type of reward, very special one because I felt a positive energy on her about my work. Moreover, I think it was really stunning her idea of opening her store, no doubts, an example that perfumes are able to move us to challenges and achievements.
I ´ve received a special email , a feedback of one of professionals that I admire most in the artwork of perfumery. He commented that perfume blogs are still a place for free expression and I am delighted by his feedback and sensibility recognizing that we, perfume bloggers, do not give way just for money and/or change our opinions to please a commercial agreement (and that is the advantage of having an independent blog and still a intimist format, able to keep the tunning with perfumes issues and various dialogues and fields). The blog is growning and will grow because is my passion and all people's passion that support my ideas, but the essence, the true and freedom as opinion maker will be kept.
Dedication to build a space like Perfume da Rosa Negra is, above all, about passion and freedom to express emotions and knowledges that they bring to us. This does not have price. It is totally priceless.
Now, it is time to play a game, first, the rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you ( girls, here you are: Divina e Abigal) 2. Post the rules on your blog ( Take it easy, I am posting them... I am posting them... in two languages, hard-worker and poor Cris)
3. Write six random things about yourself (only 6? There are so many things to say, I am so multiple about myself!)
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them their blog (only 6? There are so many interesting people)
5. Let each person know they've been tagged and leave a comment on their blog 6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.
Six Random Cris Rosa Negra things:
1) I love dancing. I danced (or have danced) Flamenco , Oriental Dance (Raqs Sharki), Salsa, Ballroom dance... Each of these dances refers to me, I am extremely flamenca and raqsa, a passionate and gipsy side and a spiritued and oriental in Middle Eastern Dance . I cannot share myself between both of them, they have always to be present, no matter if I will have to dance in the middle of my home room because of the lack of money or time. I love Eva Yerbabuena (Spanish Flamenco dancer, the best ... what she does on a stage does not exist, it is something divine and always that I dance Raqs Sharki I have to wear oriental perfumes, mainly those that have Damascena Roses, Frankincense, agarwood, ambergris and Egyptian musk. They are part of a soul that gives itself up to the dance. I have a consumer dream: having a personal dance teacher for Flamenco, Salsa and Tango. Do not ask me why, but I need a personal dance teacher. Probably because I wish exclusivity.
2) I love Minnie and I say that I have a smal collection. There are some people that laugh or say that I need urgently find a husband and have a child when I tell them about it. This Minnie love is funny because when I was a child I liked her but I was not in love by her. Everything started when I went to Boston in 2003 to study there and I bought a big Minnie at a Wal-Mart store. I did not want to leave Boston and I cried a lot in the airport hugging my Minnie, no concern about this embarassing situation LOL... Minnie should smell Natura, Mamãe e Bebê (Natura) but she is an emancipated girl, so she always wears my Amor Amor (Cacharel) and Light Blue da Dolce & Gabbana.
3) I do not fear the death, but I fear to not do everything I wish to do, at least, some things, as a free woman.I fear the solitude too, but in smaller scale and, mainly, I fear to live in a cade as said by Eowyn in the movie "The Lord of the rings - Two towers. She summarized what I really fear " I fear neither death nor pain... I fear a cage. To stay behind bars until use and old age accept them and all chance of valor has gone beyond recall or desire" . I wish to go to Paris, to do dance presentation in a Spanish Tablao, write a book and love a real man, those that make me say " Wooww... how you are a gentleman, humble, refined, fragrant and adorable". If you know a man with this profile, introduce him to me...LOL
4) I love photography. I have already taken more than 2000 photos on vacations.Normally I do not like to photograph people, just the entire nature. Sunset, sea and flowers are among my favorite captures, because I see myself in them.
5) I love red nails, red nail lacquers, red, red, red, no matter colouring my feet or hands nails... It is a mark, a trail...
6) I define myself as someone who is out of the ordinary people range and , most of time, I have the insight that I am inappropriate for this world, even I see some flowers in this same world. I am poet, artist, half-crazy, half normal, always happy and sad too. I am half-Amélie Poulain, but seductive; sweet but potentially bitter, half Kafka, much of Sidharta, something of Baudelaire, much flamenca, nothing Cartesian, always Clarice Lispector and restless as Fernando Pessoa. I am a question-mark, but those who really know me see the transparency in me, my essence, my beauty. Regularly, they are few. And I think it is great" The quantity would be a mistake.
Now I am going to tag Victoria do Bois de Jasmin (I love her way of writing, mainly in language aspects. The day which my English be like hers, I am going to win the Pulitzer LOL ); Vero, a very nice person Les Ateliers du Parfum . I love Vero's customer service at Decant-me
Andy Tauer blog, always will be tagged by his fan. He is always closer to us through his blog, we, perfume lovers, sharing his ways in a beautiful way and is great cool niche parfumer. Love ya, Andy! Ayala Moriel at Smellblog .I really appreciate her balance between technical expertise and how converting it in your lines), stunningly! and I cannot let to tag, my dear Juliette at my French favourite blog Poivrebleu
I will tag too Michel Roudnitska from Art-et-Parfum, his site (not a blog, but anyway I am going to play with him too). He is a great person, really inspiring to me. Carpe diem, Michel!Perfume da Rosa Negra has been tagged (a tag game play among perfumes, fashion and beauty bloggers).
A outra pessoa que quero agradecer é a Abigail , minha colega de Perfumecritic, escritora de perfumes no I smell therefore I am e dona da The Post Peasant.
Primeiro, as regras
6. "Let the tagger know when your entry is up"????
4) Eu adoro fotografar.
O dia que meu inglês for igual o dela, eu ganharei o Pulitzer rsrs). A Robin do Now Smell this (adoro a forma descontraída que ela escreve) vou etiquetar a Vero, uma pessoa muito legal da Les Ateliers du Parfum . Amo também o atendimento a clientes que a Vero proporciona-me no Decant-me.

My post is on line!

Dearest Cris, I wanted to comment earlier, but all the studying didn't allow much time on the computer. So, what I wanted to tell you is how much I loved reading about you and most importantly, that I think that you have such a wonderful attitude to life and to yourself. You are inspiring in this - it would be very empowering for young girls to listen to speakers like you (or read the writings of women like you) who can help them appreciate everything that is to be loved about themselves and to help them believe in themselves. Thank you for allowing us another glimpse into your psyche :) This was beautiful and I'll say it one more time, inspiring.
