Em 28 de Maio as consagradas amigas do eterno hype novaiorquino da moda, do sexo e do amor, Sex and the City, estarão nas salas de Cinema de todo o Brasil com o segundo filme da franquia do aclamado seriado da HBO, desta vez, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) e Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) estarão vivenciando alguns dramas pessoais que envolvem seus relacionamentos amorosos, inclusive o casamento de Carrie e, claro, a crise da meia-idade; para variar o glamour do figurino e da cenografia, Sex and the City 2 tem locações exoticamente orientais, as amigas irão para os Emirados Arábes.
Mas voltando ao clima de Nova York, a renomada atriz, produtora e empresária Sarah Jessica Parker decidiu lançar mais uma fragrância, para tal, celebra seu amor pela cidade que a imortalizou no Cinema e na TV, New York City. O perfume SJP NYC já está em total sintonia com o lançamento do filme, tanto que há uma grande rede de perfumaria no Brasil que lançou ações de marketing que atrelam a compra do produto com o ganho de ingressos para o lançamento do blockbuster.
Sarah Jessica Parker mudou totalmente a abordagem olfativa deste lançamento, em comparação a Lovely e Covet, por exemplo, desta vez, NYC é uma fragrância bem jovial, alegre e tem componentes que a aproximam de uma fragrância de muito maior aceitação pelo público jovem, chegando a ter uma saída de puro morango que deixa um rastro evidente de tudo o que lembra frutas vermelhas, inclusive a framboesa. O morango é encorpado por toques de rosa, madressilva e gardenia que o tornam um pouco menos frutal e mais sensual, mais adulto, como se o perfume amadurecesse à medida que a baunilha e musk se misturassem ao acorde frutal da fragrância. É um perfume mais comum, mais fácil de usar para quem gosta de florais frutais, mas é provável que alguns narizes mais exigentes vão criticar o apelo comercial da fragrância, porque é uma fragrância feita para agradar uma boa parte das mulheres antenadas, mais jovens e moderninhas, lembrando perfumes com uma forte base floral frutal, a diferença é que NYC se diferencia do lugar comum com um toque exótico de flores e uma base sedosa, levemente cremosa de sândalo com musk com toques gourmand.
Quando o cheiro de NYC é aspirado, chega a causar surpresa porque o primeiro pensamento é: O que este cheiro de morango tem a ver com Nova York, uma cidade tão cosmopolita, fashionista e glamurosa? O senso crítico inicial diz que morango pode combinar com o champagne tomado em um restaurante chic da cidade ou com o chantilly que é servido na boca dos amantes. A interrogação mais imediata é : Onde a exigente Sarah Jessica Parker estava com a cabeça ao aprovar essa fragrância que mais parece o perfume de uma cidade tropical? Mas, é necessário dar um tempo a NYC e deixá-lo fluir na pele antes de julgá-lo. Ele não é nada pueril. De fato, ele tem bastante morango na saída, não o artificial como o de Marina de Bourbon Rouge Royal, mas mais parecido com o morango de CH Carolina Herrera. E, quando o morango começa a ceder espaço para as flores, a baunilha e um toque almiscarado, fica evidente que SJP tem bom gosto até para florais frutais. Há um toque floral diferenciado no drydown do perfume que transita entre o exótico osmanthus e a deliciosa madressilva e a base se torna muito agradável, como o cheiro de roupa nova, loja elegante, pelo menos é a primeira associação que mais tem cara de Nova York.
Como dito por SJP na época de criação da fragrância, NYC é um perfume mais com cara de Carrie Bradshaw, tem essa energia da cidade que transparece em seu sorriso, em sua jovialidade, em seu alegre estilo de se vestir. Na verdade, entender o perfume como uma expressão de Carrie é compreensível somente através da evolução da fragrância. O perfume começa mais tropical com o cheiro de frutas vermelhas, é como lembrar do drink favorito de Carrie Bradshaw, o Cosmopolitan que leva suco de cranberry, além disso é um cheiro mais jovial que lembra o lado sensível de Carrie, seu vulnerável lado de menina apaixonada; posteriormente há o toque feminino das flores que faz parte da feminilidade da própria personagem, envolta em roupas glamurosas, sapatos luxuosos, ou seja, tudo que uma mulher ama e, depois, há o toque da sensualidade da baunilha, musk e madeiras com o rum, que remete à vida mais sexual de Carrie Bradshaw e seus envolvimentos amorosos, algo mais quente e sensual, mas não necessariamente carnal, animálico, apenas sugestivamente sexy, primorosamente confortável como um grande abraço do Mr. Big.
NYC tem cheiro de NY? Não parece ser o cheiro exato da cidade no quesito da elegância, mas é um perfume que combina com a versatilidade da mulher urbana que não quer deixar o bom humor de lado, muito menos a sedução e a amorosidade. O perfume tem uma certa ternura. NYC é superior a Covet e Lovely? Não, considerando a criatividade e impetuosidade dos mixes de seus antecessores, mas é um perfume superior no que se refere à potencial aceitação do público jovem, é agradável, delicioso e bem comercial na sua proposta. Não há dúvidas que, quem gosta de Sex and the City, SJP, perfumes e Nova York, terá o desejo de experimentar a fragrância. Ser Carrie Bradshaw por um dia é como ser algo de NYC.

On May, 28th the closer friends of the eternal New Yorker hype movie of fashion, sex and love, Sex and the City, will be in the Cinema sessions in Brazil releasing their second movie inspired in the acclaimed HBO tv series. This time, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) e Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) will be living some personal dramas related to their love relationships, including in the Carrie's marriage , and of course, their aging crisis; the movie also features a new glamour in the costume designer and scenography, Sex and the City 2 has locations exotically oriental, they are going to Arab Emirates.
But back to the New York atmosphere, the renowned actress, producer and business woman Sarah Jessica Parker has decided to release one more fragrance, in such way, she celebrates her love for the city which has immortalized her in the Cinema and TV, New York City. The perfume SJP NYC has been completely tuned to the movie release in Brazil, so much that one big perfumery retail has released marketing actions that joined the buying of one perfume and, as a gift, the customer receives a pair of cinema tickets for the blockbuster's release.
Sarah Jessica Parker totally changed her olfactive approach for this release, im comparison to Lovely and Covet, for example, this time, NYC is a youthful and joyful scent and has compounds that approaches it to the fragrances easily acceptable by the young audience. Its opening is pure straweberry scent that let the scent lingers as a perfume made by berries, a trail of raspberry comes to the memory. The strawberry is embodied by rose, honeysuckle and gardenia which become it less fruity and more sensual, more adult, as if the perfume would mature in proportion to the vanilla and the musk wouuld be mixed to the scent's fruty accord. It is a commom perfume, but easily wearable for those who enjoy floral fruity scents, but probably some demanding perfume heavy users are going to criticize the commercial appeal of the fragrance because NYC was composed to please largely modern and young woman following the type of perfumes with a key floral fruity core, the distinguishable difference here that is a pro for NYC is its exotic and subtle touch of flowers and a seductive, soft and creamy base of sandalwood with musk and gourmand touches.
When the scent of NYC is smelt, the first question is : What is the relationship of the strawberry scent with a city so cosmpolitan, fashionable and glamurous as New York? The initial critic sense understands that strawberry combines with the champagne drunk in a chic restaurant in the city or with the chantilly that is served in the mouth of the lovers. The other question is: What was the demanding Sarah Jessica Parker thinking when she approved a perfume that seems the scent of a tropical city? Well, it is necessary to wait some time and let NYC develope on the skin befored judging it. The scent is not puerile. Indeed, there is much strawberry in its starting, but not the artificial one such as the strawberry note in Marina de Bourbon Rouge Royal, the strawberry of NYC is more similiar to the one found in CH Carolina Herrera. And when the strawberry starts to fade and flowers bloom with the musky vanilic accord, it is clear that SJP has a good taste also to select a floral fruity scent. There is a distinctive floral touch in its drydown that transits between the exotic osmanthus and the delightful honeysuckle and the base becomes very pleasant, as the scent of new clothing, elegant store, at least, this is the first association that seems to be new yorker.
As said by SJP when the fragrance was being created, NYC is a perfume that seems Carrie Bradshaw, has this city energy that is evoked by her smile, her youthfullness, her joyful style of dressing herself. Indeed, considering the perfume as an expression of Carrie is very understandable only through the fragrance development. The perfume starts more tropical with the red fruits cent, that is like to remind of the favorite Carrie Bradshaw's drink, the Cosmopolitan that has cranberry juice, besides it an youthful scent that reminds of the sensible way of Carrie, her vulnerable facet of a passionate lady; later there is a feminine touch of flowwrs that is part of the own personality of the character, involved by glamurous clothing, luxurious high heels shoes, that is, everything that a woman loves and, later, there is a touch of sensuality from vanilla, musk and woods with rum that evokes the more "sexual" life of Carrie Bradshaw and her affairs, something hottier and alluring, but not necessarily carnal, animalic, only suggestively sexy , primerly comfortable as Mr. Big's hug.
Does NYC smells NY? It does not seem the right scent of the city in the matter of NY's elegance, but it is a perfume that combines with the versatility of the urban woman that does not leave her good sense of humour, neither her sensuality and kindness. The perfume has some tenderness. Is NYC superior than Covet and Lovely? No, considering the creativity and impetuosity in the mixes of its antecessors, but NYC is a superior perfume in which refers to be potentially more aceptable by the young audience. It is pleasant, delightful and very commercial in its proposal.There is no doubts, people who adore Sex and the City, SJP, perfumes and New York will desire to sample this fragrance. Being Carrie Bradshaw for one day is nice, is like to be something from NYC.
